Why should I choose you?
There are two main reasons: I focus on correct form and technique, with a progressive steady load. I also help you choose and set realistic goals. There will be no crazy low-calorie intake and ridiculous workout plans – everything is designed to fit into your life.
What guidance will I get?
Scheduled programmes, nutrition advice, habits to help you reach your goals, and check-ins. There is a chat function with the app, which will allow you to send direct messages to me. You can also send form videos for me to check out and help you keep on track. The app will also show you how to complete each movement with a handy video and description.
Will I need access to gym equipment?
No – programmes are built for you, which means they will contain exercises and movements to suit your ability and equipment access.
How much does personal training cost?
I have a number of options to suit all budgets. It's important to prioritise your financial responsibilities – however, investing in your health and fitness can have long-term benefits for your overall well-being.
Is your weightlifting coaching for beginners?
The coaching is for all levels. As the programme is based on your requirements and goals, it does not matter where you are in your journey.
What is the British Weightlifting (BWL) Technical Model?
The BWL model is used by BWL Olympic weightlifting coaches. The Olympic lifts are complex movements, which require a combination of good technique, strength and power, as well as flexibility. The model breaks down the components of each lift in detail using 6 steps for the clean and snatch, and 5 for the jerk. I use the technical model in my sessions to enure that good practice and technical knowledge is used to maximise lifting potential.
